In December, 12, 2008, Leo and I went to Nanjing Olympic Sports Center for a concert. The name of this concert was Flying Dream. The reason I chosen Flying Dream is the ticket was not expensive, only 380 RMB and I wanted to relax from the hard studying. We arrived at Olympic Sports Center on 7 o’clock and there were so many people. At 7:30 p.m., the concert was beginning. I saw some famous singers, such as Liuhuan and Phoenix Legend. I like Liuhuan the most because he sang the song for Beijing Olympic Games and he is a great musician. He did once say he loves singing more than money, he doesn’t care how many discs people buy or how much money he gets by singing. He only has an aspiration of bringing people good music. I love his words. In 21st century, it seems that people do everything for money. Some singers put new songs very soon and then they can get money, but the songs are horrible to listen. The good music in China is less and less. If every singer can think like Liuhuan, China will be the land of music.
The concert was great but the aura of the concert was not very good. There was no interaction between singers and audiences. When singers said to audiences, no audience answered. I tried to encourage people around me and answer with me, but failed. If we can show singers we are excited and crazy about them, they will try their best singing for us and we can hear the better music. I think it will be a mutually beneficial relationship. In our lives, it seems like this relationship. If we can make people happy and satisfied, we can handle issue very fast and very well. I will work hard on this aspect and building my mutually beneficial relationship.
It is a good experience of concert. I first time learn some knowledge from concert. I feel excited and satisfied.

Religious Service

Beside our school, there is a temple called Jiming Temple. If you visit the Nanjing. Jinming temple is one of the place that you should go. Because the temple was not only with a long history, but it is also very beautiful to burn incense and pray.

On the afternoon of the 25th,April. I went to the Jiming Temple with my friend Leo who is in the grade 11. The Jiming Temple is beside the Xuanwu Lake. At the East gate of the Xuan lake. We attended there at the 13:00. The jiming Temple is near our school, and we also want to learn something about Buddhism. I know it is famous in China. But I also know nothing about it. So by this chance, I will find some knowledge about the Buddhism. How does it develop in the Western country.

When we go to the temple, the guard of the entrance will give you three incenses. Burning incense before the statue means that there is a prayer. So we hold them to worship Buddha. When we was born, the parents told us how to kowtow in front of the Buddha. So we were skilled to kowtow. It is a traditional habit in China, to kowtow means subservient, worship or highly respectful.

I think it is meaningful. I really liked it. Nowadays, religious effects a country development. You can see, when the temple introducing the Light, thousands of people will find a pendant or a headgear in the introducing the light Assembly. It can bless their hope or dream. I know the Buddhism does not derive in China. It is One of world's three major religions. From BC 6 -----Before 5th century,the prince in the Ancient India Ka Wei-Guo Luo border created the Buddhism. Year 67, it was introduced to China. So Buddhism is not a unacquainted religious. But there is a deep search about the Buddhism.

By this visiting, I know I only got a litter things about the Buddhism. It is better than I know nothing when I go into the temple. It is a different activity that I like very much.

Public Events

At the end of April, we checked the Map magazine to see what the Public Event can we join. At public events list, Chinese flowering apple fair in the Mo chou Lake was attracted us. I reminded we celebrate the Drogan Boat Festival in the Mo chou Lake. That place is a really beautiful place with many Chinese flowering apples . So I decided to go to there and enjoy the flowers.

At the 26^th of April, I went to the park with my friends Leo. The location of the park is at the West Water West Gate on the Mochou Road. It is near the Qinhuai Lake.

The Mo chou lake park is Nanjing famous classical garden. The are of the park is 60 hectares. The Mo chou women house, the shenqi floor, the baoyue floor…… are all the sight spots in the park. The park’s name comes of a beautiful girl. Her name is Mo chou. When she was 17 years old, her father was dead,and a functionary bought her. But the functionary always humiliated her. So at the end, she decided to jumped into the lake for showing the resistance. Later generations want to memorialize her spirit, so called the lake Mo chou.

So the lake is just like the woman’s beauty, it is also attracted many international tourists. At that day, we did not only see the lake, but also enjoy the beautiful Chinese flowering apples. In the west of the lake, there is a Chinese flowering apples square. Although the Chinese flowering apple has passed its growing season, they are also looked like energetic. Let us felt the charm of spring. The flowers are in full blossom. More and more new life are born in this spring. Their quality are altruistic. Every spring, they will appear in the people’s eyes on time, to first notice us: the spring is coming. So many Chinese poet wrote the poetry to represent the love of the Chinese flowering apples. But who cares ,after a few month, they will die quietly.

They let me know a few, but think a lot. Many people always want to get some rewards, but they never pay out. At sometimes, pay out is also a kind of character. I reminded the Sichuan Earthquake. Some people save the sufferers, but never leave their names. They let me know this is called consecration.

Teamwork gives me vigour

When the NBA playoff is like a raging fire. More than 13 billion people are focus on the Houston Rockets. Because it is the a half basketball team of China. Yao ming is the team leader of the Rockets. So everyone hope this team can win the NBA main champion at the end, although this dream is too tiny, it is great. To face the Portland Trailblazers, they never fear at all.


So at the half term, I also chose the basketball to be my Physical Activity. I found I fall in love with basketball, maybe Rockets gives us a lot interest. From the morning’s Rockets playoffs. Their team spirit give me a deep feeling. And I re mined I played the basketball with my friends, there is a lack of teamwork. Every wants to behave the best. But they forget basketball in the not the a person’s game, a team is formed by five people. To cooperate is the best way to smile at the end. So why the LA Lakers can play the best in the NBA. Bryant Kobe is the main the person of the team, but to win every match is not controlled by him. At the holiday, I liked to watch the NBA playoffs, but I also realize the team spirit is the important when you are worked in the group.


I also remembered one match that we lost because the teamwork. He thought he played the basketball the basketball the very well, so he told us , he would stand in a good position. When we got the ball, passed it to him quickly. Because he could shoo ted very good. But at that day, everyone only he is a very good shooter of the basketball, so many people defended him. He also believed him too much, and never ever passed the ball to us. At the end, Our team got a sound beating.


To connect that match to today’s Rockets Playoffs, there is a big differences of the teamwork. I never forget that match without no teamwork any more. It gives us a large pressure to play the basketball. After that time, teamwork was around my mind. So when we needs a group at the school. I also very pay more attention on the co-operation. What parts should do, who did it, it was divided into everyone in the group.


Do you remember the center of the Rockets. He is the Mutombo. A more than 40 years old player. He hurts himself in the NBA playoffs, he tried his best to shoot. Because of his age, he did not have enough vigour to finish the game. So after that match,he was out of commission. He cried for three times , he said: I will give my teammates the same love, just like they gave me the same. However, for me, basketball career is over. It represents that when he was on the court, he never forget his teammates. Teamwork is the soul of a team, we can not get success without teamwork. It is a kind of character of a person. Vigour needs it all the time.
