Before I wrote this report, I was not sure what can I give a good adjective to describe my volunteer activities. At the end , meaning is the fittest word. So I began to remind my really and meaning volunteer journey.
On March the 14th , there was a group of Danish students to visit our school. I had the honor to introduce our school, and some infrastructures near the school. I was curious that what their life in the school, and could not wait to have a talk with them. I thought they also they had the same feeling with me. Before they came to our school, we decided to bring them to the school dormitory , laboratory and gymnasium. Although we prepare everything, we also meet the problem and waste a little. When we began to visit the dormitory, the teacher in the dormitory did not allow us to go into the dormitory. Because the people who don't live in the dormitory do not allow to go into. So I ran to the Administration Building and let director to approve us, that we just wanted to visit the dormitory. At the end, she promise me and I was also very happy. Because the Danish Students really wanted to see our dormitory. That my duty to be a volunteer. Although our talking only kept one hour, I was also felt very excited. I would not never forget it .
In the planning class, we also did the volunteer activity. We went to the Beijing Road Primary School. It was easier. Because we only needed to teach them how to play UNO cards. They were interested in the UNO cards. Because we were more affectionate than the teachers. We had been the children, so we know how to teach and play with them. Between the teaching process, some piquant children gave us a big headache. But in our group, the students were not mischievous. So we played very happy and successful. From this activity, I learned be patient is the main character to be a teacher in the primary school.
At the end of the April, I went to the foreign language bookstore with grade 11 students for two times . To give out questionnaires to the reader. At first, we were active to give people the questionnaire. About many reader did not want to write about the questionnaire. If they wrote the questionnaire, they did not want write their telephone numbers. It caused many problems to the bookstore. Because they had the lottery draw activity. If you are the lucky one, they can contact you quickly. The manager told us, you should see the reader’s action.If they walked quickly, you did not need to give him. If people who walked slowly and read for a long time, they were affirmative to receive your questionnaire. We followed this way to finish our work successfully.
To be very tired and also very happy is my feeling to be the volunteer. From the activity, I always learned a lot, Whatever what the job is. Be patient, outgoing responsible…… There character are all our future needs and abilities to obtain employment, so do more activities, can increase our experience in the following road. Let our passions to become more meaningful.
