Teamwork gives me vigour

When the NBA playoff is like a raging fire. More than 13 billion people are focus on the Houston Rockets. Because it is the a half basketball team of China. Yao ming is the team leader of the Rockets. So everyone hope this team can win the NBA main champion at the end, although this dream is too tiny, it is great. To face the Portland Trailblazers, they never fear at all.


So at the half term, I also chose the basketball to be my Physical Activity. I found I fall in love with basketball, maybe Rockets gives us a lot interest. From the morning’s Rockets playoffs. Their team spirit give me a deep feeling. And I re mined I played the basketball with my friends, there is a lack of teamwork. Every wants to behave the best. But they forget basketball in the not the a person’s game, a team is formed by five people. To cooperate is the best way to smile at the end. So why the LA Lakers can play the best in the NBA. Bryant Kobe is the main the person of the team, but to win every match is not controlled by him. At the holiday, I liked to watch the NBA playoffs, but I also realize the team spirit is the important when you are worked in the group.


I also remembered one match that we lost because the teamwork. He thought he played the basketball the basketball the very well, so he told us , he would stand in a good position. When we got the ball, passed it to him quickly. Because he could shoo ted very good. But at that day, everyone only he is a very good shooter of the basketball, so many people defended him. He also believed him too much, and never ever passed the ball to us. At the end, Our team got a sound beating.


To connect that match to today’s Rockets Playoffs, there is a big differences of the teamwork. I never forget that match without no teamwork any more. It gives us a large pressure to play the basketball. After that time, teamwork was around my mind. So when we needs a group at the school. I also very pay more attention on the co-operation. What parts should do, who did it, it was divided into everyone in the group.


Do you remember the center of the Rockets. He is the Mutombo. A more than 40 years old player. He hurts himself in the NBA playoffs, he tried his best to shoot. Because of his age, he did not have enough vigour to finish the game. So after that match,he was out of commission. He cried for three times , he said: I will give my teammates the same love, just like they gave me the same. However, for me, basketball career is over. It represents that when he was on the court, he never forget his teammates. Teamwork is the soul of a team, we can not get success without teamwork. It is a kind of character of a person. Vigour needs it all the time.

The Meaningful Volunteer Activities

Before I wrote this report, I was not sure what can I give a good adjective to describe my volunteer activities. At the end , meaning is the fittest word. So I began to remind my really and meaning volunteer journey.

On March the 14^th , there was a group of Danish students to visit our school. I had the honor to introduce our school, and some infrastructures near the school. I was curious that what their life in the school, and could not wait to have a talk with them. I thought they also they had the same feeling with me. Before they came to our school, we decided to bring them to the school dormitory , laboratory and gymnasium. Although we prepare everything, we also meet the problem and waste a little. When we began to visit the dormitory, the teacher in the dormitory did not allow us to go into the dormitory. Because the people who don't live in the dormitory do not allow to go into. So I ran to the Administration Building and let director to approve us, that we just wanted to visit the dormitory. At the end, she promise me and I was also very happy. Because the Danish Students really wanted to see our dormitory. That my duty to be a volunteer. Although our talking only kept one hour, I was also felt very excited. I would not never forget it .

In the planning class, we also did the volunteer activity. We went to the Beijing Road Primary School. It was easier. Because we only needed to teach them how to play UNO cards. They were interested in the UNO cards. Because we were more affectionate than the teachers. We had been the children, so we know how to teach and play with them. Between the teaching process, some piquant children gave us a big headache. But in our group, the students were not mischievous. So we played very happy and successful. From this activity, I learned be patient is the main character to be a teacher in the primary school.

At the end of the April, I went to the foreign language bookstore with grade 11 students for two times . To give out questionnaires to the reader. At first, we were active to give people the questionnaire. About many reader did not want to write about the questionnaire. If they wrote the questionnaire, they did not want write their telephone numbers. It caused many problems to the bookstore. Because they had the lottery draw activity. If you are the lucky one, they can contact you quickly. The manager told us, you should see the reader’s action.If they walked quickly, you did not need to give him. If people who walked slowly and read for a long time, they were affirmative to receive your questionnaire. We followed this way to finish our work successfully.

To be very tired and also very happy is my feeling to be the volunteer. From the activity, I always learned a lot, Whatever what the job is. Be patient, outgoing responsible…… There character are all our future needs and abilities to obtain employment, so do more activities, can increase our experience in the following road. Let our passions to become more meaningful.

Calligraphy is a kind Chinese tradition culture. Chinese brush is a kind famous calligraphy in the world. In the 2008 Olympic Games, the Chinese bring the audiences from all the world to the art ambit by the brush. To be the antiquity and young Eastern art, what is the soul of the Chinese brush calligraphy.


At Marth 7th, I went to the Nanjing art gallery with Peter. The gallery is localed the Zhongshan road. We met the gallery in the morning at 9:00am The calligraphy are wrote by a student in the Nanjing foreign language school. So she is also our schoolmates. Her name is Chen nanran .The calligraphy exhibition is called Chen nanran Chinese brush calligraphy exhibition.
I was interested in the carapace-bone-script, the carapace-bone-script were made by the ancient people. So we did not understand the words, but I was amazed why she can write the carapace-bone-script, and she used the brush to write. It let me admire her so much, the carapace-bone-script have no regular patterns to find, some words are like interesting and grotesque delineation.To learn and read them are so hard, you can imagine how hard to write it .

When I finished the visiting, I exclaimed how a girl’s prefect accomplishment. She had her wonderful calligraphy exhibition around the world. Somebody said: to visit the calligraphy exhibition is so boring , we did not know it and we also did not understand. But if you are in a motive to watch a thing. Let the calligraphy blend into a part of you. It will more easy to understand. The exhibition is different from others which exhibit for some unique cultural relics . It is a person’s accomplishment, a country’s soul , a Chinese to be worth proud.

Chen studies the calligraphy when she was two years old, in despite of cold or hot, about 16 springs and autumns have been over, Chen insists to practises the brush words for many hours of a day. What can let her never give up her dream ? I think interest can represent everything, if you have the interest about something, you will feel easy to do it well. So boring thing never let people finish the dream. In my following development，I got something important from the exhibition: find a job you are interest in, this can improve you for a lot.

Enjoy Japanse Food

Have you been to Japan? If you have been to Japan, you would be attracted by the Japanese food. I also never been to Japan. But I ate the Japanese food with my friends, it was a unforgettable meal.

At the 8th of March, we are promissory to meet at the school gate at 6:00pm, they are my dormitory friends, Joseph and Susan both from the Class B. When we arrived the school. We went to the Japance restaurant together. The restaurant called Tairyo’s Teepanyaji. In Chinese we called it DaYun which means big fish. The location of the restaurant is in the 1912. We found the restaurant from the Map magazine. The albacore, cod,eel flatfish and lots of many barbecues made us excited, so we decided to the Tairyo’s Teepanyaji restaurant.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:oo pm , at first there was no seat in the restaurant, so we waited the seat outside. After 10 minutes, the waitress told us we have the seats for three people . we could wait to go inside. The way the order the food is buffet. So we ordered what we wanted to eat until you were so full, and you also could drink what you wanted to drink until full.
To go to the Japanese restaurant, the raw cutlet you should order. It was so delicious to taste the raw cutlet with the mustard. The cutlet with the mustard to eat is too delicacy, that let me as if I was in Japan. That feeling let me feel comfortable. We ordered lots of food, such as: beef-steak, raw meat dish, scallop, lemon sauce prawn…. About the vegetables, we eat ball lettuce,mushroom, Chinese cabbage and bacon. There are also something that I never eat, so I do not know what are they means , just read the name of the meal.

I really like the food, that cook on the iron. The cook did the meals in the middle of you. You can see how to cook the food. There is a big difference between the Chinese food. We cook the food in the pot, they used the brandy to let the food more delicious. The restaurant very fits a family to have a dine together. We can have a jollification there. Many foreigners also ate and eat opposite us. They looked like us that always laugh and applauded the food. Different countries have their own food cultures. This is the Japanese food that I like very much.

My Work Experience

During the holiday, I went to my father’s company to work with the workers for one week. After the work, I learn many things from this meaning experience, No matter how tired , dirty…..I try my best to learn, so that I did not regret to join with many worker, I have the same perspiration with them, I eat with them together, at the noon I have a break with them to sleep on the floor. Maybe in our sight, every new thing was curious ,and you will do it carefully at first time.After many years, if you can do as the same well as your first time with curiosity, at that time, you are a real winner.

This time, I did not choose a easy work. At first, I father let me work in the office to study with a technicist. But I refuse to my father. so I demand to go the workshop . Because after a I saw the worker’s hands were all black. They were too dirty that it is hard to clean. Maybe they need a brush to wash. I get a company uniform from the chairman of the workshop, and began to work. The chairman arrange me to the installation department. It meaned we need to have a installation with many small spare parts the to form a forced draft fan ( the shape of the forced draft fan is the same as the fan we used in the summer, forced draft fan is a large industry machine. You can see it in the kitchen of the big hotel, the main effect is exhaust and ventilation) Because the fan’s shape is like a snail, so we need to assemble inside the fan. It is so hard, we need to squat on the floor, maybe for one or more hours. Sometimes , we also use the rasping machine to let the spare parts more precise.It is so noisy that you can not heard the people’s talking. After a fan finished, when to stand up I got charley horse in my legs, and my two hands were too dirty that I can not touch anything clean. In my mind, to finish one fan is a big victory, but maybe they will install dozens of fans a day. That time, I real experience how the parents make money. I asked my master worker, they will work for more than ten hours,but their monthly pay are several hundreds RMB.

After five years, I will be on society too. Maybe I will be a worker and work for Canada. At that time, I will remind when I was in senior high school, I had a very memorable experiment. This let me realize, make money is not play. You should pay out your sweats and tears . Make money is also your duty. We should look after yourselves and your close relatives. When I went to the university, if I study about industry, I think will have a good foundatio , because I ever have a practice by myself . Study hard for future’s happy day.

My Club Activity

Before I went to GCA, my uncle told me , you need to know how to swim, swimming can help you save yourself. And there are many attractive sea and beach in Canada, if you do not know how to swim, you will lose many time to enjoy the never-ending oceans. From that day, I decided to learn swimming. When I came to the school, there were many interesting clubs attracted me, at the end I chose the swimming, although I was so afraid of swimming. After some exercises, I not only know how to swim, but also I got many valuable senses from the swimming.

When we went to natatorium, I was so excited and looking forward be able to swim with one time. Although it was not possible. But when you are real closed to the swimming pool, I suddenly had a kind of undefined apprehension, but when you saw them jump into water and swim forward, the courage would more than fear. Because I know a little about swimming, after the coach told some stills to me, I jumped into slowly and recall that coach told me the actions at all times. By many times exercises, I know how to front crawl , although I only can swim a few distances. But I believe after may be 10000 times, I can swim as quickly as Michael Phelps. From all the process to learn the swimming, I understand: nothing is impassible, if you always try to do it. It you fear to a difficult thing, next time you will have more fear to it,opposite if you are brave to try it, you will feel easier to overcome the difficulty.

Every time, the coach did not allow some abecedarians to swim into the deep water. We can not curvet and play a trick on abecedarians. You can be relieved and adventurous to swim in the pool. It was very safe to join the swimming club. There are many strengths about the swimming. Swimming can practises your vital capacity and it is also good for your skin. Swimming is the best sports in the world, because we should use every parts of your body to swim. Swimming need a lot of physical strength, if you insist to swim, you should have a good break, to assure enough energy. In winter we almost do not have the club activities, but in my opinion, swim in the winter can represent our great willpower.

From these activities and some matches between my friends, to have a goal is very important during your life. By the swimming process, you will realize when we can not insist .Goal can encourage us walk forward, GCA is growing stronger and stronger, it is like we swim in the track. swim each small distance, we are more closed to our goal. And if we swim quickly, GCA will swim quickly. It is crucial that we can decide how to swim in the pool. Maybe we need to have air changes and meet lots of problems, but I think we never give up, because the goal is beckoning to us . We need to walk forward in the

difficulty.

Physical Activity

Sports endow us unlimited power, but to own a Strong physique is the capital to do all the attractive PE activities. At the PE class, we were running, playing the soccer, do many interesting games ….. whether we have how many PE classes from the elementary school to now, PE classes were still our favourite class. From the activity, we not only exercise the physical activities, but also we can learn a lot from the activities.

My first day’s activity is basketball. Maybe we often played the basketball at the school, I begin to fall love with the basketball. My uncle also likes to play basketball, and he plays longer than me, so he is my coach and my supervisor. when he went to the basketball count, and begin to shoot quickly. He said to me you are wrong at the first . I was so interrogative , I played the basketball for a long time, nobody I were wrong at first, and I was not in the match, it is impossible to have any foul actions. He came to told me: you should have a warm-up before you do any activities. If you do not have any warm-up, it is easy to hurt yourselves, and now it is winter, hurt yourselves becomes easier. At first, I thought it will waste too much time, to do some warm-up ,I also could shoot for many times. Until one day, I have a match with my friends, we began to play quickly, and forgot the warm-ups completely. From that day , I thought I got it. We can not win a battle without ready.

Maybe to get ready is a easy action that we know it when we were in the kindergarten. But there were not many people can do it . So in this world , victory is for people who are always getting ready.That why before we have the exams, we need have a review. Before write a good article, we need have a outline. Everything need to get ready. Some days earlier, I watched a interview about the director of the 2008 Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. The director Zhang yimou said, all the Olympic team used two years to create massive song and dance programs. Between the Rehearsal process,the director’s average sleep time is three time. When the reporter asked him: what let you have too much vigor and make you insist to finish your responsibility. I have a vivid memory of his words: to get ready can let us do better. Because we have the quite prepared, we get many country bellwether and Olympic Organizing Committee’s admire.

It is also very close to my life. If I insist to the warm-up before and do more exercises, it will easy to improve my health. My muscles will become stronger and stronger. This small point may effect all my life. It is really useful for following study and my work. Physical activity let me got a very important thing. Always don’t forget : to get ready can let us do better!
